How Sweet Time Labradoodles came to be!

🐾 My name is Kitty Bokoles and I’m living what I call my sweet time (aka retirement) in Ventura, CA. I’ve always had dogs, they all have had a place in my heart; most have passed over the Rainbow Bridge. Living in a canine-less home after our last dog, a rescued boxer named Gracie, passed over, I knew I wanted to include dogs in my sweet time ventures. I researched therapy dogs because I wanted to give back to the community and my mind was set on raising a dog with which to do therapy. 

🐾 In December 2019, my husband had a terrible accident while riding his bicycle and spent a month hospitalized. He was in rehab when a cute and snuggling therapy dog named Brady came to visit him. As you can imagine, Brady’s owner/handler and I had a long conversation about training dogs for therapy work. Thus began my relationship with Nancy Mitchell, founder and President of VIP Dog Teams, a non-profit that trains and places dogs for therapy and facility work in Ventura County, CA. Since my encounter with Nancy, I have raised and trained my double doodle named Harry for therapy work and we are now a registered therapy team with Pet Partners.

🐾 Well, as one might imagine, when living a sweet time life, plans can mature and evolve, and I decided I wanted to get into breeding. After a lot of research, Australian Labradoodles were a fit for me. By design, Sweet Time Labradoodles is a boutique purveyor of puppies that are healthy with sweet, yet confident temperaments to be raised as loving family companions.  

🐾 We enjoy the traveling in our RV with our pups. We are truly Happy Campers!
